Dan McLeod

Dan was born in Tallahassee and, as a Navy family, he was raised all around Florida, Cuba, and South Georgia.  After graduating from Florida Atlantic University, he moved to Delray Beach in 1978 and worked for 41 years with Perry Submarine Builders, which became Lockheed Martin.  After retiring from Lockheed Martin, Dan took on a position with Ocean Specialists, Inc.  Dan met Luann in 1972, and they were married in 1974.  They have three sons (Joel, David and Kevin) and three grandchildren (Sydney, Roderick and Sofia).

Dan and Luann came to Palm Beach Lakes in 1984 after worshiping with the Haverhill congregation.  Dan served as a deacon from 1985 until 2000, when he was appointed as an elder the first time.  He stepped down as an elder in 2005 and was appointed again in January 2026.  Dan is a regular teacher in the Pacific Islands Bible College.
