To get from my office to almost anywhere in the church building, I must walk through the hallway of the children’s Bible classes. It is a rare day (if ever!) that I do not reflect on the great folks who teach in that hallway and thank God for them.
Teachers, thank you! Thank you for saying “Yes” to teaching! Thank you for every minute that you spend in preparing your lessons and thinking through every part of your class time! Thank you for giving up your Sundays and Wednesdays, when instead of being fed in a Bible class for you, you are feeding others in a Bible class for them! Thank you for having the heart to serve!
For those who are teaching our children, thank you! Thank you for the investment that you are making in eternity! Thank you for the influence for Jesus that you are having on young souls! Thank you for helping our kids love God, love Jesus, love the Bible and love the church! Please know that what you are doing down that hallway is regularly noticed, deeply appreciated and richly blessed by God!
