Sometimes we don’t know that we have a problem or know that we need help or know that a situation is going to arise UNTIL IT HAPPENS and IS UPON US. Then, sometimes in moments of desperation, we’re trying to figure out what to do. Aren’t you thankful that YOUR GOD doesn’t experience that sort of thing?
Jesus said, “Your Father knows the things you have need of BEFORE you ask Him” (Matt. 6:8). Your God is the “Before” God! He knows what you need BEFORE you know it! God told Jeremiah, “BEFORE I formed you in the womb I knew you” (Jer. 1:5). Your God is the “Before” God! He knew you BEFORE you knew you! The “precious blood of Christ,” which redeems us from our sin, “was foreordained BEFORE the foundation of the world” (1 Pet. 1:18-20). Your God is the “Before” God! He knew you needed a solution for your sin BEFORE you were ever you! Nothing surprises God!
Nothing leaves God in a moment of desperation, trying to figure out what to do! So, BEFORE you rely only on YOU to get you through life, rely on your “BEFORE” God!
