2. The Cure for Self-Righteousness: It Takes Self Out of the Center
   • To stop being self-righteous, HUMBLE yourself (Mt. 23:12; Lk. 18:14)

   • Humble yourself before your Father (23:9; cf. Hab. 2:20; Matt. 6:9)
   • Humble yourself before your Master (23:10; cf. 23:37; Col. 1:18)
   • Humble yourself as a servant of all (23:11; cf. 20:28; John 13)
3. Take Self Out of the Center: Put Christ Where He Belongs
   • You must believe that Jesus is the Son of God (John 8:24)
   • You must repent of your sins and turn toward God (Luke 13:3)
   • You must confess your faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9)
   • You must be immersed into Christ (Mark 16:16)
     1. God will forgive you of all sins (Acts 2:38)
     2. God will add you to His church (Acts 2:47)
     3. God will register you in heaven (Hebrews 12:23)
   • Follow Christ faithfully as Lord of your life (Matthew 7:21)
