WHAT BIBLE FAITH REALLY IS

1. Not religious feeling or opinion, but confidence in what God has revealed (Heb. 11:1)
2. Not blind faith, but faith based on evidence God has provided (John 20:30-31)
3. Not passive belief, but active obedience to God’s will (Jas. 2:17-20)
4. CONFIDENCE in what God has said and TRUSTING God enough TO DO what He says, even when we cannot see everything (2 Kgs. 5:10-14)

WHY EVERY CHRISTIAN NEEDS STRONG FAITH

1. Because without faith, it is impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6)
2. Because faith is our defense against the attacks of Satan (Eph. 6:16)
3. Because faith enables us to endure trials with hope (1 Pet. 1:6-7)
4. Because faith is essential to walking daily with God (2 Cor. 5:7)

HOW FAITH IS STRENGTHENED

1. Faith grows by hearing and learning God’s Word (Rom. 10:17)
2. Faith grows when it is exercised in obedience (Jas. 2:22)
3. Faith grows by remembering God’s faithfulness in the past (Josh. 23:14)
4. Faith grows when we choose trust over doubt in difficult moments (Mark 9:24)

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN FAITH IS WEAK

1. We become unstable and easily shaken (Jas. 1:6-8)
2. We begin to sink under pressure and fear (Matt. 14:30-31)
3. We become vulnerable to unbelief and sin (Heb. 3:12)
4. We struggle to remain consistent in obedience (Gal. 5:7)
