1. God and the Nations: God Has Always Cared About All Nations
   • God created ALL nations from one blood (Acts 17:26)
   • God allowed ALL nations to make their own choices (Acts 14:16-17; 17:30)
   • God longs for ALL nations to come to Him (Mark 11:17)
   • God promised to bless ALL nations through Abraham (Gal. 3:8; Rom. 4:17-18)
   • God sent Christ to die for ALL nations (John 11:49-52)
   • God provided one way for ALL nations to be saved (Acts 10:34-35; Rom. 1:5)
   • God commands His people to preach to ALL nations (Luke 24:47; Matt. 28:19)
   • God will judge ALL nations (Matt. 25:32)
2. The Righteous and the Nations: Righteous People Have Always Made a Difference
   • Nations are in danger when they forget God (Psa. 9:17)
   • Righteousness strengthens a nation (Prov. 14:34)
   • Upright people bless the places where they live (Prov. 11:11)
   • A few righteous souls can matter greatly to God (Gen. 18:32)
   • One righteous person can influence an ungodly nation (Gen. 41:38-40; Dan. 1:8; 6:10, 25-27; Esth. 4:14)
   • God’s people are intended to preserve and illuminate the world (Matt. 5:13-16)
3. Us and Our Nation: Our Responsibility Is to Walk with Jesus
   • The righteous (that’s us!) must SHOW UP (be present and engaged)
     1. 10:24-25; Deut. 6:6-7; Eph. 6:4; Col. 3:17, 23; Gal. 6:10
   • The righteous (that’s us!) must STAND UP (be courageous and distinct)
     1. Jude 3; 1 Pet. 1:15-16; 3:15; Rom. 1:16
   • The righteous (that’s us!) must SPEAK UP (teach the gospel)
     1. 1:14-16; Eph. 4:15; 2 Tim. 2:24-26
   • The righteous (that’s us!) must PRAY UP (depend on God)
     1. 1 Tim. 2:1-4; Col. 4:3; Acts 4:29
   • The righteous (that’s us!) must LIVE UP (adorn the doctrine of Jesus Christ)
     1. 3:20; 1 Pet. 2:11-12; Rom. 12:1-2
   • The righteous (that’s us!) must LOOK UP (remember the eternal kingdom)
     1. 12:28; Rev. 17:14; Phil. 3:13-14; 1 Pet. 1:3-4; Col. 3:1-2
4. Are You in His Nation?
5. 1. • Believe Jesus is the Son of God – John 1:12
      • Repent of your sins and turn toward God – Luke 13:3
      • Confess your faith in Jesus Christ – Romans 10:9
      • Be baptized into His church – 1 Corinthians 12:13
        1. God will forgive all of your sins – Acts 2:38
        2. God will add you to His church – Acts 2:47
        3. God will enroll you in heaven – Hebrews 12:23
      • Walk faithfully with the Lord – 1 John 1:7
